Tracy L. Lawrence Managing Director


Tracy L. Lawrence is a management consultant who works with business organizations and individuals on executive search, executive assessment, leadership coaching and organizational development. Prior to launching her consulting firm, Lawrence led the Los Angeles Consumer industry practice at Russell Reynolds Associates, one of the world’s largest executive recruiting and assessment firms. There she handled senior-level management and board of director searches and led broad scale executive assessment initiatives across the spectrum of industries.

Unique among her peers, Lawrence is one of a select few human capital consultants with real-world senior level management experience. She is a veteran of the cable television industry, having served as General Manager of Fox Family Channel. Prior to this, she was Vice President of Affiliate Marketing for Nickelodeon Networks, where she oversaw marketing initiatives for Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, TV Land, and Noggin. Prior to this, Lawrence headed up local marketing initiatives as Director of Marketing for MTV Networks. Lawrence began her career in brand management at Kraft and later worked as a Category Manager at Nestle Brands.

Tracy L. Lawrence’s accomplishments have earned her numerous awards and recognition. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Walter Kaitz Foundation, the Center for Children and Families and the New York Chapter of Women in Cable and Telecommunications. She has earned two Mark Awards for excellence in advertising and a BDA award for creative innovation. She is also the recipient of National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communication’s (NAMIC) Winston Tony Cox Executive Achievement Award and the National Cable Television Association’s (NCTA) Vanguard Award for Young Leadership, the highest level of distinction given by this organization. In addition, Lawrence is the Founder of Digital Diversity Network, a non-profit organization whose mission is to increase diversity in the ownership and leadership of the digital media and technology industries.

Lawrence earned her BA in Economics from Stanford University and her MBA from Harvard Business School.
